Music Video Post Production

In this music video, we combined all of what we learned throughout the year into one project. We used pictures and video and we edited it on Final Cut. We combined everything we learned and our acting is really bad. We tried.

Music Video Production

Our music video is for the song "I'm Ready for You" by Drake. Our music video basically consists of us doing whatever the lyrics in the song are doing. So, because we are doing this, it virtually makes no sense. However, most music videos don't make any sense anyway, so it works out perfectly.

21 Jump Street Final Trailer

When making this trailer, we didn't really run into any problems. We did have to find a way to make it look like we ran Jonathan over with a car, without actually running him over with the car. We learned how to shoot a video trailer and then edit it using audio.

Movie Trailer Production

Equipment-
Tripod
Camera
People

The production process is going smoothly and everything is working out ok. The only problem is that we could not use a water gun due to school rules so we just used our fingers. Otherwise we have not run into any other problems.

Wrath of the Titans

The trailers for Red Tails, Despicable Me 2, Men in Black 2, and Wrath of the Titans cannot be recreated because they all contains elements that cannot possibly be recreated. For example: Wrath of the Titans has animation and large monsters that cannot actually be recreated unless you have the proper equipment. However, you can recreate 21 Jump Street, because it is a fairly simple trailer and there is no animation. Each of the trailers has a distinct characteristic. For example: Red Tails uses animated planes and war scenes to try to entice people to go watch the movie. Despicable Me 2 is a different because the whole trailer is just a bunch of despicables trying to sing a song.

Texting and Driving PSA (Wolford and Clermont)

We didn't really have any challenges with our assignment, but if we did have a problem, it was with making the plot for our psa. I think we did a great job getting our point across, and I think it will be very easy for viewers to understand our message and understand how dangerous texting and driving can be.

Stop Motion Final

The process of making the stop motion was a long and difficult one, but i think once we got the hang of it, it turned out really well. We learned how to take photos in various positions, and then put them together to create a stop motion production.

Production #3 lol rotfl

For the production process, we brought the camera around various locations throughout the school grounds and we took pictures of the football going around the campus almost as if it was moving. we would take a picture of the football and then move it to a different spot and then take another picture, and we did this repeatedly. We didn't really have any issues with our project except for the fact that getting the ball to look like it was going over the car in the parking lot was a challenge. We really didn't have any lightbulb moments unless we thought of a new place to move the football. If we could give any tips, we would say that you need to use a variety of locations and make sure that your sequencing is correct.

For our audio track, we chose "Under the Bridge" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers because we thought it would be representative of the football traveling around and going to different locations.

Stop Motion Samples

http://vimeo.com/31939621
http://vimeo.com/4862670
http://vimeo.com/10555187

The first video is very interesting because it involves man types of colored pencils and it is very creative with the way it shows the movement of the pencils throughout the screen.
The second video is interesting because it shows a guy biking up a hill and it uses many different types of cloth and it shows him doing jumps on the hills, and it s just like a bmx ride.
The final one is my favorite because it incorporates spray-painting, and it looks like it took quite  bit of time to do. It shows someone shooting a slingshot, and it is all done in spray-paint, and that is what makes it interesting.
For my project, I am going to incorporate something with football, and I want to do something similar to the second video listed where there are obstacles and the character in the stop motion is overcoming those obstacles.
